Queensland Symphony Orchestra and The Arts Centre Gold Coast present Something Old, Something New. A charming and exhilarating musical tour through folk infused orchestral territories, the concert is sure to entertain people of all ages.
The spotlight is on opposites, with the old and the new, frenetic and calm, serious and funny pieces highlighted by a performance by Malcolm Stewart, QSO's horn player, of Gliere's expressive Concerto for Horn. Presented and conducted by the witty Guy Noble, don’t miss this wonderful concert.
