Bringing the carnival theme to this year's festival celebration is the Australian Street Entertainment Championships. Held over four days, clowns, mimes, jugglers and dancers will take to stages across Surfers Paradise in a carnival of light and laughter.
This years' event brings together some of the world's best street artists – jugglers, acrobats, magicians, puppeteers and musicians – as they vie for the crowd's attention.
Based around four stages, this event promises a taste of unsung talent, creative innovation and fearlessly energetic performance.
Knowing their audience might wander off at any moment, these artisans of the showbiz coalface put it all on the line to dazzle, intrigue and amaze.
So vote with your feet – or a coin in the hat – as the title of Australia's Street Entertainment Champion goes up for grabs in Surfers Paradise.
The Australian Street Entertainment Championships will take place from April 18 until April 21, 2014 from 10am until 7pm. The event will be held at Surfers Paradise Foreshore, which is just a few minutes away from our Gold Coast Family Apartments.
If you are planning to attend this exciting event, you may want to book your stay at our accommodation. We offer a choice of one, two or three bedroom apartmens in a highrise tower with private balconies. Our apartments are fully self contained with complete kitchen and laundry facilities. Our two and three bedroom apartments feature a bathroom and ensuite.
If you are travelling as a family, book your stay at our three bedroom apartments. Our three bedroom apartments features Foxtel and air-conditioning. Our three bedroom apartments can occupy a maximum of eight guests. The rates are for up to six guests, but extra guests can also stay for an additional charge of $30 each per night.
